Legend Seafood Restaurant
Honolulu’s Dim Sum Kings
Located in Honolulu’s historic Chinatown, The Legend Seafood Restaurant has been a cornerstone venue featuring Hong Kong style Chinese food for three decades. They pride themselves on sharing their food culture heritage through authentic dishes and many of their chefs serve up recipes passed down through their own families.
Tucked inside the Chinese Cultural Center they’re most famous for their Dim Sum and you can expect a line out the door leading you into a packed house any day of the week. You’ll find locals and tourists alike here filling the space with a constant loud chatter like birds settling in into a tree canopy for the night.
By day the Dim Sum carts at Legend are rolling at full speed. The menu has a large variety of options and the carts make frequent passes through the restaurant with steaming fresh baskets of food so you won’t have to wait long to dig in once seated. We suggest making it an early lunch if you want to avoid the lines (though it’s worth the wait if you end up having to.) Dim Sum service runs from 8:30 – 2pm weekdays and 8:00 – 2 on weekends.
The Dim Sum carts pack up by 2pm and they transition into their dinner menu. Seafood is a main feature but they also offer traditional, vegetarian, seasonal, and modern dishes as well. Look no further if you need banquet or catering service, they’ve got you covered. For Dim Sum in Honolulu, Legend is our go to restaurant not the cheapest or the most expensive making it just right!
