Hawaii Men’s Volleyball Team Dominates in 3 Straight Sets to sweep UC Irving

The Hawaii men’s volleyball team won their match against UC Irvine in straight sets on Saturday night, improving their record to 24-2 overall and 7-1 in the Big West.

The Hawaii men’s volleyball team swept UC Irvine on Saturday night to improve to 24-2 overall and 7-1 in the Big West. The Warriors won the match in straight sets, 26-24, 25-20, and 25-19.

Dimitrios Mouchlias 12 kills, and Galloway added 10 kills. Jakob Thelle had 36 assists, and Rado Parapunov had nine digs.

The Warriors jumped out to an early lead in the first set and never looked back. They led by as many as 10 points in the set and cruised to a 26-24 win.

The Anteaters came out strong in the second set, taking a 12-7 lead. But the Warriors rallied to tie the set at 23-23. Hawaii then scored the final two points of the set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The Warriors took control of the third set, leading 16-12 at one point. The Anteaters rallied to tie the set at 23-23, but the Warriors scored the final two points of the set to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

The Warriors took control of the fourth set, leading 16-12 at one point. The Anteaters rallied to tie the set at 22-22, but the Warriors scored the final three points of the set to win the match.

The Warriors will next play UC San Diego on Friday night. The match will be the regular season finale for both teams.

Hawaii Warriors Men’s Volleyball Team Defeats UC Irvine

Hawaii tied for first place in the Big West Conference after defeating the UC Irvine Anteaters on Friday night. The Warriors are now 23-2 overall and 6-1 in the conference.

The Hawaii Warriors men’s volleyball team forced a three-way tie for first place in the Big West Conference with a 25-16, 17-25, 25-23, and 25-22 victory over the UC Irvine Anteaters on Friday night at Stan Sheriff Center.

Dimitrios Mouchlias had 23 kills and set a career best, with six blocks to lead Hawaii. Rado Parapunov added 14 kills and seven digs, while Chaz Galloway had 13 kills and four blocks.

The Warriors hit .400 in the match, while the Anteaters hit .250. Hawaii also had a 10-3 advantage in blocks.

Hawaii jumped out to a 12-5 lead in the first set and never looked back. The Warriors led by as many as 18 points in the set and cruised to a 25-16 win.

UC Irvine came out strong in the second set, taking a 12-7 lead. The Anteaters led by as many as 10 points in the set, but the Warriors rallied to tie the set at 23-23. UC Irvine scored the final two points of the set to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
